This project involved all of my skills: from designing the room, creating vision boards and floor plans, to sourcing and creating bespoke furniture, sourcing and displaying the artwork and organising the craft supplies, this job involved everything, and I loved it. It was so much fun and I'm so grateful to the client for placing their trust in me!

Pine and plywood furniture offset the light green colour behind them nicely. The drawers in the pine unit are all labelled neatly. A kids' painting hangs on the custom-made 'easel' on the painting station, which can be taken apart and moved.

This shot shows the desk with a plant pot to the right of it. On the wall beside the pot is the gallery of framed photos and a little more in the foreground from that i a couple of shelves with various items on, such a a plant and ink pot.

The 'painting station' is a plywood, open fronted box mounted on castors. In the box are various pots and storage boxes with paint and paintbrushes in etc, all labelled. Above, there is a painting board with a magnetic strip on the top of it, a piece of paper with a kids drawing on is hanging on the board, between the two sides of the magnetic strip

The study is the same as the previous shots, but this time the room is darker and the light more cozy.

Another shot of the furniture I designed and built for the art room. I wanted to offer modular solutions that could grow and be moved as the kids' do.
